  • 30-hour Famine - Video February 19
"A real famine. A real opportunity. The worst drought in 60 years is ravaging a region called the Horn of Africa. Lack of rain is devastating entire communities, withering vast croplands, and killing whole hers of livestock. As a result, food prices are skyrocketing and people, especially vulnerable children, are suffering greatly." Other places around the world are suffering too. Over 925 million people go to sleep hungry each night. Our youth group will be raising funds and participating in the 30-hour famine world event during the last weekend of February to help to end hunger around the world. Find a youth group member to give them your donation! Your youth group members are: Emma Eubanks, Grace Jensen, Caroline Lucas, Jane Leach, Daniel Tondra, Erik Lucas, Samuel Jensen, Aaron Coggins, and Ethan Helmer.
We will be sharing videos about this famine and the project after worship on February 19th in the sanctuary during fellowship time. Please join us!
